Robert came to law as a second career committed to the idea that excellent skill, knowledge, and representation are not just a goal, but an absolute requirement.  As Managing Partner of KPM LAW’s Fairfax Office, Robert put together and manages an aggressive team of litigation professionals committed to aggressive, efficient and responsive promotion of client interests.

Robert focuses his practice on the defense of large loss and complex commercial and construction claims, contract disputes, professional and business liabilities, commercial transportation accidents, and premises liability, as well as insurance coverage analysis and litigation.  He has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued in the appellate courts of Virginia, Maryland and the Fourth Circuit.

After graduating from the University of Virginia, Robert received a full scholarship to study opera at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia.  He sang for ten years on stages from the east coast to Chicago before returning to law school at the College of William and Mary, where he took second place in William Mary’s National Moot Court competition and was a member of the I’Anson-Hoffman Inns of Court.  Robert is happily married and also manages his boy-girl twins and a wonderful mixed-breed, rescue dog.

Henry is a partner at KPM who has been with the firm since 2018. He practices in the firm’s commercial liability and insurance coverage & fraud groups, representing insurance carriers and their insureds in commercial vehicle/trucking, premises, products, fire/explosion, construction defect, and general commercial liability matters, as well as handling insurance coverage and fraud investigation. Henry also has extensive experience representing community associations and property management companies in litigation

Henry values the relationships he builds with his clients, including effective and frequent communication and cooperative and cost-effective litigation management, while never compromising results. He approaches each case with an organized and detail-oriented strategy, with a focus on always obtaining the best outcome for his client. Henry has tried cases throughout the circuit courts, general district courts, and federal courts of Virginia and has handled appeals all the way up to the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Henry earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law after receiving his B.A. in both Government and Psychology from the University of Virginia. He gained valuable experience both before and during law school as a paralegal in a downtown Richmond worker’s compensation defense firm, as well as interning for the Hon. Teresa Chafin of the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Virginia Solicitor General. He was also a member of both UR’s Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Boards.

Henry is a native of Richmond, Virginia and is a die-hard Wahoo, passionate about all things UVA sports. When not rooting on the ‘Hoos he enjoys spending time with his wife Ariel and rescue hounds Bowie and Goose, watching movies, and practicing hot yoga (which his wife got him into and he actually enjoys now).
