Robert came to law as a second career committed to the idea that excellent skill, knowledge, and representation are not just a goal, but an absolute requirement.  As Managing Partner of KPM LAW’s Fairfax Office, Robert put together and manages an aggressive team of litigation professionals committed to aggressive, efficient and responsive promotion of client interests.

Robert focuses his practice on the defense of large loss and complex commercial and construction claims, contract disputes, professional and business liabilities, commercial transportation accidents, and premises liability, as well as insurance coverage analysis and litigation.  He has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued in the appellate courts of Virginia, Maryland and the Fourth Circuit.

After graduating from the University of Virginia, Robert received a full scholarship to study opera at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia.  He sang for ten years on stages from the east coast to Chicago before returning to law school at the College of William and Mary, where he took second place in William Mary’s National Moot Court competition and was a member of the I’Anson-Hoffman Inns of Court.  Robert is happily married and also manages his boy-girl twins and a wonderful mixed-breed, rescue dog.

Dylan is an Associate in KPM LAW’s Richmond office, where he focuses his practice on premises liability, products liability, intentional torts, and a variety of civil litigation matters. He represents clients in the Retail, Restaurant, and Sports & Entertainment sectors and is known for his proactive approach to identifying potential risks before they arise.

Dylan prioritizes transparent, consistent communication to ensure clients remain informed and confident throughout the litigation process. Dylan earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business, with a minor in Italian Studies, from the College of Charleston in 2020 and his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law in 2023. After his admission to the Virginia State Bar (2024), the District of Columbia Bar (2025), and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia (2026), he earned a Masters degree in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University, feeding his interest and fueling his experience in the evolving NIL landscape in collegiate athletics.

Dylan began his legal career at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, business formation, and trademark matters. He later served as commercial contracts counsel at Apex Systems, gaining valuable in-house experience and insight into the operational needs of corporate clients. Dylan’s client-focused philosophy centers on being communicative, approachable, and responsive, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and collaboration. He enjoys learning the intricacies of each client’s business and developing customized strategies aligned with their operational goals.

Outside the office, Dylan enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants, running—having completed his first half and full marathons in 2025—and following his favorite New York teams: the Giants, Knicks, and Mets. He also enjoys spending time with his dog, Lenny.
