Robert came to law as a second career committed to the idea that excellent skill, knowledge, and representation are not just a goal, but an absolute requirement. As Managing Partner of KPM LAW’s Fairfax Office, Robert put together and manages an aggressive team of litigation professionals committed to aggressive, efficient and responsive promotion of client interests.
Robert focuses his practice on the defense of large loss and complex commercial and construction claims, contract disputes, professional and business liabilities, commercial transportation accidents, and premises liability, as well as insurance coverage analysis and litigation. He has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued in the appellate courts of Virginia, Maryland and the Fourth Circuit.
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Robert received a full scholarship to study opera at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. He sang for ten years on stages from the east coast to Chicago before returning to law school at the College of William and Mary, where he took second place in William Mary’s National Moot Court competition and was a member of the I’Anson-Hoffman Inns of Court. Robert is happily married and also manages his boy-girl twins and a wonderful mixed-breed, rescue dog.
Danny joined the team at KPM LAW in 2008 and believes strong personal relationships are the bedrock of a successful law firm. Danny dedicates all his energies toward hard work and commitment necessary to bring about the best possible client outcomes.
Danny attended Cornell University where he earned a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management Magna Cum Laude. During this time Danny was a two-year captain of the varsity men’s swim team and three-time MVP. Danny attended law school at the University of Richmond School of Law and earned his J.D. with honors in 2008. Danny is an avid triathlete and has qualified for the Half Ironman World Championship on multiple occasions was fortunate to qualify for and compete at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in 2018. He has completed 14 Ironman races all over the U.S. and enjoys testing his physical limits. He believes the rigorous physical and mental training is useful not only in competition, but in his career as a skilled litigator.
Danny’s career has focused on the defense of civil claims including car accidents, wrongful death claims, construction defects, premises liability, and intentional torts such as defamation. More recently, Danny's expanded his practice to include representation of public sector entities from myriad claims and provides legal guidance with regard to preventing, reducing, and mitigating risk associated with public sector entities and their interactions with the citizens and communities they serve.
Danny prides himself on his strong interpersonal skills, legal writing, and negotiation and looks forward to the opportunity to serve new clients and meet a variety of legal needs.
